Peter Sauber happy with new Sauber C32

Sauber introduced a new design concept this year by introducing very slim sidepods. The new concept is likely to provide more aerodynamic gains as the drag due to bulky sidepods will be reduced but there had been questions of whether the slim sidepods could house radiators that would be adequate for cooling.

But, despite all the speculation Peter Sauber has revealed that everything on C32 worked fine during the Jerez test and even said that they didn't have any problem with engine and KERS cooling.

“We had not the slightest problem with the cooling system. The values were good enough that we can extrapolate for temperatures up to 35 degrees,” said Sauber.
“The bottom line is that the cooling will work just fine in Malaysia.”
