Former Ferrari designer Rory Byrne has returned to Ferrari and is currently assisting with the development of  Ferrari's 2014 challenger.

The South African designed all of Michael Schumacher's championship winning cars at Benetton and Ferrari before retiring at the end of 2006.

A Ferrari spokesman said that Rory byrne is working on the new Enzo road car project but is also providing "operational support" on the 2014 F1 project.
